Hanah Afifi is a multilingual stage and screen singer-actor whose work has primarily been in concerts, musical theatre productions, independent films, and dubbing/VO. Afifi sings jazz, blues, pop, rock, French chansons, opera, and Arabic songs.

Hanah Afifi is an Egyptian multilingual singer-actor whose work has been primarily in stage concerts, musical theatre productions, independent films, and dubbing. She sings musical theatre, jazz, blues, pop, rock, French chanson, and opera.
She has trained in Musical Theatre at Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA). Afifi is also an alumnus of the American University in Cairo from which she graduated with a Theatre Minor where she took courses in Directing and Acting in Arabic. In addition to singing and acting, Afifi has received Dance training for three years at SPAA.Afifi has played lead roles in SPAA’s productions of Urinetown and Carousel and supporting roles in Cairo Year Zero (short film) and Saraya Abdeen (Egyptian series). She was also a member of Fabrica Musical Theatre Company in Egypt for four years where she was part of its Egyptian rendition of Les Misérables, its Rock, Jazz, and French Chanson concerts, and its music video production “Mercury Rising: A Queen Tribute.”Afifi has trained with Australian vocal coach John Peek, American vocal teacher Dr. Kathleen Bell, and renowned opera singers Dr. Neveen Allouba, Hany El-Shafei, Amira Selim, and Caroline Dumas.Afifi’s singing languages include English, Arabic, French, Spanish, and Italian. She has trained in General American, Southern, and RP accents with Accent Coaches Phoebe Taiano and Daniel Gott. Her skills include Voice Over, dubbing, playwriting, advanced music theory, sight reading, and cold reading. She also plays the piano at an intermediate level.Afifi has attended masterclasses in Musical Theatre with Chicago tour performer Harrison Wilde (Dance masterclass), Beauty and the Beast UK Tour Performer Pamela Blair (Dance masterclass), Disney’s Christy Crowl and Juan Cantu (Audition masterclass), Director and Choregrapher Kenn Oldfield (Acting through song), Disney’s Head of Casting and Strategy Stephen Gelpi (Audition masterclass), Hamilton Original London cast member Leslie Garcia Bowman (dance masterclass), Joel Montague (Acting through song), Hiba Elchikhe (Acting through song), Hamilton cast member Tarinn Callender (Dance masterclass), Matilda cast member Ryan Anderson (Dance masterclass), Grease cast member Lauren Hunter (Dance masterclass), and Matilda’s Music Director Louis Zurnamer (Acting through song).
